Fawad Khan was born in Lahore on November 29th 1981 into a Muslim family. His early life was spent in Saudi Arabia, Greece, Manchester then he returned to Lahore at the age of 12. From Lahore Grammer School he completed his A-Levels. Later he joined National University of Computer & Engineering Sciences, Lahore Campus for Bachelors, where he obtained a degree in Telecom Engineering.

Fawad Khan first public performance was at high school play which was directed by Manal Butt, one of his friends. A famous director Shahzad Anjum judged the acting skills of Fawad Khan who ultimately helped him to enter the media world.

At the age of 19, Khan first found fame by playing role in Jutt and Band in which Ahmed Ali Butt, also starred. Later on it becomes a coalition as a band member for Entity Paradigm EP. In 2007 this band was broken up because of the busy schedule of Fawad Khan. Again in 2010, they reunited and performed BOLO BOLO for Coke Studio Season 3. Later they launched their album “Shor Macha”.
